Mota Island, Vanuatu - John Seach
Banks Islands, Torba Province


Mota Island is hat-shaped, with a steep-sloped east-west elongated spine of older volcanoes. The island is 10.5 km from Mota Lava island. It is about 4 km in diameter, and has a summit elevation of 411 m (Mt Tawe).

There are six villages spaced around the coast - Tasmate, Veverao, Lotawan, Tukwetap, Navkwoe, and Liwotkei.
